Since 1961 Soconord popularized the casing production of Dalmine Siderca (now Tenaris) in Europe, Middle East and Asia in the 60's and 70's, and even became a pipe producer while taking over Tubemeuse, in Belgium, in the end of the 80's, before building the first Drill-Pipe assembly line in the Middle-East, DPAL, in Dubai's Jebel Ali Free Zone.
The latest venture was Superior Tubular Solutions, a state of the art threading facility located in Jebel Ali, fully equipped to thread API and premium connections on casing and tubing ranging from 2.7/8'' up to 20''.
So, new industrial ventures are for the Group very thrilling and motivating decisions.
