SOCOFIN is the Group's financial organization. SOCOFIN has often provided SOCONORD with its financial expertise to enable it to secure long term financing, especially for large diameter pipes projects.
In addition, SOCOFIN daily handles credit analysis and hedging techniques on behalf of the Group's various companies.
In its long-term strategic choices, the SOCONORD GROUP primarily selects investments which are closely related to its own activities.
But SOCOFIN is also a diversified investor: it has acquired minority interests in two Belgian listed companies, one specializing in financial services and the other oriented towards public communications (TV and other media).
