 Soconord is presently assembling in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (United Arab
Emirates) a Drill-Pipe Assembly Line in order to better serve the
Middle-East Drilling Contractors.
With a capacity of approximately 4.000 joints per month, Soconord's
installation covers the range 2.7/8" to 5.1/2" in the traditional grades
E-75, G-105 and S-135, and develops higher grades (sour gas) and proprietary
tool-joints.
Sourcing its raw material from the most reliable and appropriately ISO 9000
certificated pipe mills, this assembly line is becoming a major player in
the field.
