MORE THAN 40 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
With over 40 years of experience, SOCONORD is a worldwide supplier of steel tubular products for the Oil, Gas and Water Industries.
Established in Brussels in 1961, SOCONORD opened its first branch in Houston (Texas) in 1978 to coordinate its North American activities. In later years, two more offices were opened in Venezuela and Argentina to develop the South American markets.
By 1984, the Far East became a principal target for SOCONORD and Soconord Asia was established in Singapore to penetrate this important market. After 10 years of activity, it gave birth to Soconord Shanghai.
In 2000, an additional branch has been set up in Jebel Ali (Dubai- UAE).
OUR METHOD : BEING PRESENT
Our area managers travel extensively to give personal attention to business in progress. Through these efforts, SOCONORD has contributed to the completion of several major international projects.
In recent years, SOCONORD has successfully placed an emphasis on CRA (Corrosion Resistant Alloy) pipes.
Casing pipes are supplied to more than 50 countries and sourced all around the world.
Soconord carries a stock of the main OCTG sizes in Flushing, Antwerp, Houston, Singapore and Jebel Ali. A permanent inventory of 15.000 metric tons, threaded and coupled, plain end or green, allows us to supply even fairly large quantities of pipes at very short notice.
End finishing is mainly performed in API-approved workshop on Batam Island, off Singapore.
Soconord is always interested in buying oil companies surplus tubulars, provided they are unused and have mill's tests certificates. We also offer other methods of putting our clients' stock surpluses on the world market. Go to Go to OCTG eXchange for more details.
